Supporting health and medtech companies to enter and grow within the UK healthcare market.
Navigating the NHS as a founder is hard. The landscape is complex, sales cycles are long, and routes to entry can be opaque and relationship-dependent.
Inchoatus works with early-stage healthtech companies, scale-ups, and mission-driven organisations to navigate the complexities of NHS and health sector adoption, market entry, and commercial partnerships. We support with business development, lead generation and strategic partnership building, as well as the use of evidence to support growth, adoption, and funding.
Founder & Principal Consultant
I'm Tazmin, founder of Inchoatus. I work with healthtech companies to build commercial traction in the NHS and wider health sector. I started my career in neuroscience research, particularly brain-computer interface and neurotechnologies, before moving into software development and eventually NHS commercial roles.
Before founding Inchoatus I worked in a number of early-stage and SME organisations in health and digital, where I led on business development, market access and technical delivery. I've secured over £1.8M in NHS and life sciences contracts, and built working relationships across the health ecosystem.
Inchoatus was founded to put that experience to work directly for founders - without the overhead of a large consultancy or a full-time hire.

I can help you identify the right trusts, ICBs, and procurement channels for your technology, and build a commercial strategy grounded in how the NHS actually makes decisions.
Support the full BD cycle - identifying the right contacts, building and qualifying pipeline - or unblocking your existing pipeline - and supporting through discovery, pitching, and follow-up.
I support framework navigation across G-Cloud, Dynamic Purchasing Systems, and direct award routes, alongside bid strategy and commercial positioning.
I can help you define what data to collect, how to govern it, and how to present it to commissioners, procurement teams, and investors to support adoption.
I'll help to translate your clinical and operational evidence into the language NHS buyers respond to - for a pilot, a funding bid, or making the case for wider rollout.
Thoughts on how I work, things I find interesting, and occasional musings on data, health and tech.
